EKEN m001 a cheap Android Tablet PC Made in China

EKEN m001, as its name suggests on the package, is an all-in-one device both Ebook Reader and Mobile Internet Device (MID). On the packadge of EKEN m001 we note that there is no trace of Chinese so it is a candidate for exportation .

When turning the device on, we can see the logo of Android 1.5 version. Its 16/9 touchscreen has a resolution of 800×480 for a screen size of 7-inch. It is as thin as the iPad but its battery will only last 2 hours, worse it would be only 1 hour playing a video.

It has a Via processor 8505 running at 600mhz, 128 MB of RAM and 2GB of internal memory that can be expanded to (32GB max) via the SD slot card. It also has a G-sensor, WiFi, a microphone and loudspeaker. It will be available at a price of $ 80 per 100 pieces ordered.
