The Chinese manufacturer Aigo has just introduced the world thinnest (17mm) external battery for iPhone 3G and 3GS. The Aigo Aipower i612 has just passed the official certification of WWi (Works With iPhone) that approves devices and accessories for iPhone. The lithium polymer battery offers a capacity of 1200mAh which complements the one in the iPhone. The battery wraps the rear shell of the iPhone, thus offering additional protection. Aigo announced that its battery is able to extend the life of your iPhone for more than 550 hours. So you can call, surf, play games, listen to music, watch videos longer without worrying about running out of power.
The Aigo Aipower i612, will also bring a touch of color to your iPhone as it is available in pink, purple, white and black. The external battery is also available for iPhone 2G and iPod, and its price is set at $80.
