Le fabricant chinois Aigo ne semble pas vouloir ralentir son rythme sur les nouveautés. Voici encore aujourd’hui un nouveau MID, dénommé Walkshow NX7001. Ce nouveau modèle à la particularité de ressembler à un smartphone et il tourne sous Maemo Linux. Cet appareil dispose d’un module 3G et Wifi pour accèder à internet. mais également un module GPS et Bluetooth. Il rentrera parfaitement dans une poche grâce à des dimensions contenues de 146*75*18mm.
Le Aigo Walkshow NX7001 embarque donc le système d’exploitation de Nokia connu sous le nom de MAEMO Linux. A priori il est capable d’effectuer les mêmes tâches que sur un PC. De plus, il est possible de télécharger des milliers applications ou jeux vidéos. En tant que terminal internet, le Walkshow NX7001 intègre un navigateur Webkit qui supporte le Java et le Flash. Vous pourrez donc regarder les vidéos en streaming et jouer aux jeux flash en ligne. Son écran tactile résistif 16:9 de 4,3 pouces affiche une résolution de 800×480, qui donne des images précises. Il possède deux cameras, une à l’arrière de 2 mégapixels pour prendre des photos et film et l’autre à l’avant de 300000 pixels pour la visioconférence. Coté hardware, on retrouve un processeur Marvell PXA310 de 806Mhz avec 128Mo de DDR de Nand flash. Il est possible de recharger la batterie de 2600mAh via la mini prise USB ou bien agrandir l’espace de stockage grace au slot micro SD. Aigo indique que son nouveau MiD peut lire les fichiers Ms Office et PDF, pouvant servir également de Lecteur ebook mais aussi de lecteur MP4.
Aigo avec son NX7001 propose un appareil multifonction et divertissant, qui n’est pas à la porté de toutes les bourses puisqu’il est proposé au alentour de 300 – 350 euros.
